  1. Conceptually, this is how it works:

  3. 1. Split up the file into two (or more) files so that each segment will fit on a floppy. 
  4. 2. Tell ScriptGen Pro‚Ñ¢ which files belong together. The Installer will join the segments during installation.

  6. How to make it happen:
  7. Prior to using ScriptGen Pro‚Ñ¢:

  9. Using ResEdit, remove one or more large resources ('code' resources are usually a good choice) until the file is small enough for one floppy. Copy those resources into a new ResEdit file. Place the new file anywhere on your master disks.

  11. In ScriptGen Pro‚Ñ¢:

  13. Open the File Options window for the ResEdit file. Click on the checkbox ‚ÄúInstall Resources into different file:‚Äù. In the dialog, click the original file in the scrolling list. Click OK. Make sure you attach both files to the same packages and target folder.
